The company
Founded in 1978 in Canelli, AROL is a world leader in the production of custom closing and capping systems. Over 25,000 machines have been installed worldwide in the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and chemical industries.
The challenge
AROL wanted to monitor multi-machine production lines—composed of its own machines and those from other manufacturers—supporting production managers in optimizing OEE, reducing waste and consumption, and diagnosing problems in real time. All of this in a wide range of contexts, from cosmetics to food.
The solution
The collaboration began in late 2023 with a proof of concept on a cosmetics packaging line. Given its success, AROL has extended MORE to all types of machines it produces, in cloud or edge mode depending on the context and the end customer's needs.
